Channels and threads
Channels keep each topic in one place; threads keep the details out of everyone's way.
A channel is a room for a team, a project or a topic. Open channels are for everyone in the company; private ones are only for the people added to them.
Reply in a thread when a point needs a longer discussion. The channel stays readable, and people who follow the thread see every reply.
